Born Clinic was founded in 1982 by Dr. Grant Born, a visionary physician who believed there had to be a better way to care for patients—one that treated causes, not just symptoms. Rooted in Christian values and a belief in the body’s innate ability to heal, the clinic quickly became a haven for those seeking personalized, preventive care. In 1987, Dr. Tammy Born Huizenga joined the practice and later became its steward, expanding its mission while honoring its founding principles.
